Newszap.com, the revamped online outlet for Independent Newspapers, is, among other things, an eyesore. But it works. And, it is simple to use. If you want to blog, it is a good place to begin. However, if you are looking for something more communal, better wait: Most people who have signed up have no idea how to post up. This is due to the fact the architects of this thing, amateurs at best, have made it pretty hard to keep track of the information needed to log on. However, if you are a business looking for a bit of ink, rejoice, they will gladly tell you to write it yourself at the Independent. If you are comfortable with that, blog away. Otherwise, Blogger.com, with all of its Google.com connections, is truly the most flexible, and sensible blog-a-location.
